Dr Kra successfully completed a post-doc stay last February 2017 at Sporometrics right after our IDRC-DFATD project concluded!!! We first reported the Cote d’Ivoire LY phytoplasma in cassava, it is a huge food security problem for  Grand-Lahou!!!. Check ‘In the News’!!!!

UNA Phytoplasma Training Course

A training course was held at UNA with Dr. Yaima Arocha-Rosete (Canada) and Dr. Ndede Yankey (Ghana) as professors to train project partners from UNA and CNRA on the basic lab diagnostic and field identification methods for the phytoplasma associated with lethal yellowing in Côte d’Ivoire.

COWALY affiliates IDRC, SPOROMETRICS, CNRA, and UNA attend a follow-up meeting in Nairobi, Kenya. 

The three-day retreat will engage all steering committee representatives and will give the prime and third-party COWALY contacts a chance to review and discuss in detail the proposed work plan and share resources and updates to align information and refine work plans before field work begins.
